P21 Manager Overview

P21 Manager was created to make managing the Prophet 21 distribution software a little bit easier. Each module takes on a different aspect of the Prophet 21 software that we have seen clients struggling with or express a desire for something that is not built into the Prophet 21 software.

Import Module

The more data you have in the Prophet 21 Distribution software the more effective the system will be, so naturally you will want to import as much data as you can into Prophet 21. The problem with this is that the import process is increadibly complex and very precise. Simple errors in creating the import files are difficult to find and the entire process is extremely time consuming.

The P21 Manger Import Module helps by creating a data map between your exisiting files and what Prophet 21 need to be able to import. Than this data map is able to create just the files that you need in order to import the data that you have.

Reports Module

Often you want to get simple data out of Prophet 21 and give it to a client or vendor for whatever purpose they have for it. If they simply want a printed copy Prophet 21 does this with ease, but certain reports are very difficult to transfer to Excel or any other usable electronic format.

This is where the P21 Manager Reports Module comes in. Using a simple XML based format to create a query it is simple to save the data your retrive as a CSV file or to transfer it direclty into Excel for any data manipulation or formatting.
